FAQ - Cork
1. I’ve got unsealed cork flooring. What’s the best way to clean it?
Uncoated cork flooring needs to be protected with an impregnating product. emsol Laminate is ideally suited for this purpose. Whenever you wet-wipe your floor, add some product to your water and make sure the cloth is only slightly damp.
2. Why can’t I use emsol Parquet on my cork floor?
emsol Parquet contains wax that is unsuitable for cork flooring, whereas emsol Laminate is ideal. The best way to clean a cork floor is to add some emsol Laminate whenever you give it a wet wipe, as this has an impregnating and therefore protective effect.
